One of the most important conditions of hiring Fire 4 Hire is to have fun & enjoy the experience, however in the interest of your safety and that of our drivers please acknowledge the following important conditions when booking aboard Fire 4 Hire.

Payment

A 50% deposit (of the total booking amount) is payable to secure and confirm a booking. No bookings will be held without the payment of this deposit.

Balances are to be paid prior to the booking date or to the driver on the hire date at the beginning of the booking, method of final payment is by agreement at the time of booking; electronic funds transfer, cash, or credit card.

Credit card transactions attract the following fees: 2% Visa and MasterCard, AMEX and Diners are not accepted.

Conditions of Booking

A minimum of 1 (one) supervising adult must be travelling with any groups of children.

The client must be aware of the maximum number of passengers allowed aboard Fire 4 Hire vehicles is 10 (ten.) and the maximum number of 10 (ten) cannot be exceeded, no exceptions will be made.

Exit and entry to Fire 4 Hire must be under the supervision and assistance of a Fire 4 Hire driver or staff member. Passengers are not permitted to open doors unless instructed to do so by the driver except in the case of an emergency situation.

Fire 4 Hire vehicles are fully operational fire trucks so passengers are not permitted to touch or operate any fire fighting equipment onboard unless under the strict supervision and instruction of our highly trained staff.

Our driver is only able to provide the service according to the times and conditions booked. However, if the Fire 4 Hire vehicle and driver is available to extend the booking time, then great! Additional charges will be incurred at a rate specified by the driver.

Our fire engines are large and heavy so our experienced drivers reserve the right to deny any access to a venue that may put the vehicle, property and any person in an unsafe situation. Prior to making your booking we will happily investigate the venue for access.

Once booked your price will not change unless you make changes to any details (shortening or extending times required). We will try to accommodate any changes, subject to availability. You may cancel your booking subject to our cancellation policy. Any changes on the booking day may incur further charges.

Dress
Appropriate Footwear is required to be worn on Fire 4 Hire Trucks at all times.

Vehicle Damage & Behaviour

Smoking or the consumption of drugs is not permitted aboard Fire 4 Hire at any time. Failure to comply may result in the immediate termination of hire without refund.

 Irresponsible, crass, dangerous or intoxicated behaviour, which compromises the safety of the driver or passengers will not be accepted and we reserve the right to end the booking immediately and evict passengers from the vehicle. In this case the booking is terminated without refund.

 The hirer will be held responsible and liable for any damage to the vehicle, (inside or outside including all equipment and fittings), caused by themselves or a member of their group. The cost of repair for such damages will be the responsibility of the person hiring the vehicle.

If equipment provided in the vehicle (including clothing, helmets, USB, remote controls etc) is either lost or damaged, the hirer will be responsible for the cost of repair/replacement.

If there is damage to the vehicle which results in the vehicle being unavailable for future hire, then the hirer of the vehicle at the time the damage occurred will be held liable for losses resulting from lost or cancelled bookings, whilst the vehicle is repaired.

Fines incurred by Fire 4 Hire drivers, by the actions of the hirer or their group will be reimbursed by the Hirer. Compensation for the loss of points will be required and will be determined by the severity of the loss.

If the inside of the vehicle is left in a dirty/soiled manner, then a minimum cleaning fee of $220 will be charged to the hirer.

As security to cover for potential breakages, damages or losses, credit card details must be provided at the time of booking. This credit card will be charged to cover costs for repairs, replacements or losses. You will be notified of any pending additional payment.

Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume alcohol aboard Fire 4 Hire. All alcohol consumption is at your own risk, liability and responsibility.

Fire 4 Hire reserves the right at all times to refuse the transportation of any passenger or any Hire at any time without reason or explanation.

Fire 4 Hire accepts no responsibility for any lost, damaged or stolen property – please ensure all personal belongings are taken with you upon leaving Fire 4 Hire vehicles.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Fire 4 Hire are subject to strict safety and maintenance checks and while we make every effort to fulfil our commitment to you, we cannot assume responsibility for circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic, road and weather conditions, illness, vehicle breakdown etc.

Fire 4 Hire is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on a booking. In the event that Fire 4 Hire is subject to an accident or mechanical failure, or is no longer safe to drive, then Fire 4 Hire shall endeavour to make alternative arrangements to get the hirers to their destination. Including providing another Fire 4 Hire Truck, however Fire 4 Hire may at its entire discretion determine the method of onward travel, alternatively the hirers may make alternative arrangements at their cost, for which no claim can be made against Fire 4 Hire. The hirer specifically accepts that the hire is based on a best endeavours basis.

Cancellations

We would hate for you to cancel and miss out on all the fun onboard Fire 4 Hire so depending on availability Fire 4 Hire will endeavour to find another suitable date and time for your event but if you must cancel:

Deposits are non refundable.

Cancellation on the booking day forfeits all monies paid (100% loss) unless under extreme circumstances at our discretion.

Notice of cancellation must be served in writing.

Acknowledgement

By paying the deposit referred to above the hirers acknowledges that they have read and fully understood these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them and can be enforced accordingly.

When making a booking with Fire 4 Hire Tours you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Fire 4 Hire Tours will depart as per advertised departure times. Please check your reservation or call 048 888 FIRE (3473) to confirm departure time.
Payments
Full payment is required upon booking. Tours are not confirmed until full payment is made.
Tour Refunds
Any refund will incur a 25% administration fee.
There will be no refund for any cancellation within 2 days of your Tour Departure date & time. This also includes payment made by Gift Cards. This policy applies to all Fire 4 Hire Tours and Transfers.
STRICTLY NO REFUNDS FOR LATE-ARRIVALS OR NON-ARRIVALS.
Tour Cancellations or Delays
Tours may be cancelled, delayed or schedules may change without notice for a range of reasons including but not limited to; bad weather conditions, traffic delays, technical disruptions. Unless otherwise required by law, we will not be responsible for paying costs or expenses you may incur as a result of the change of departure time, delay or cancellation.
